Echoes of Yosemite brings together the majestic vision of Yosemite through two lenses: the classic landscapes of 19th century master William Keith (1838-1911) and the vibrant interpretations of contemporary California Art Club artists.
This exhibition will highlight Keith’s sweeping depictions of Yosemite’s rugged cliffs and serene valleys, while contemporary works offer fresh perspectives on the iconic landscape and its wildlife that celebrates the splendor of the Sierra Nevada.

This exhibition focuses on the vibrant colors of autumn – rich golds, reds and browns – capturing the visual transformation of nature as it shifts from summer’s warmth to winter’s frost.
The mission of this competition is to encourage artists to develop and refine their classical art skills and spotlight their mastery by providing a new platform for showcasing contemporary-traditional works of art..

The Arts Council Santa Cruz County’s Open Studios Art Tour offers the public the opportunity to visit 300 artists in their studios during this self-guided tour across Santa Cruz County.

The Santa Cruz Art League is hosting the associated preview show, where Open Studios artists display exemplary pieces of art as a preview of their studio tour.

The historic California Landscape Exhibition is a tradition almost as old as the Santa Cruz Art league itself. Featuring artists from all over the state, this exhibition celebrates the beauty, diversity, and majesty of California.

Join us for a week of painting “en plein air” at sites in and around the beautiful Villa Palagione in historic Tuscany Italy. Villa Palagione is an international culture and study center situated close to beautiful Tuscan cities of art like Volterra, San Gimignano , and Siena. The villa is blessed with gorgeous Tuscan hillside views, tastefully appointed bedrooms and a gorgeous swimming pool. There will be other art groups at the Villa studying subjects such as singing, dancing, sculpture, yoga…. Our holiday promises to be a week of painting, enhanced by our exposure to amazing Italian cuisine, art and culture.

This art exhibition and show is part of the Annual Draft Horse Classic and Harvest Fair at the Nevada County Fairgrounds in Grass Valley. The Classic has grown to become the premier draft horse show in the western United States.

The Arts Council Santa Cruz County’s Open Studios Art Tour offers the public the opportunity to visit 300 artists in their studios during this self-guided tour across Santa Cruz County.
The theme of this show is Kindred Spirits: Birds, Beasts, and Human Beings, where artists express creative representations of animals (real or mythological) and/or human beings, in styles ranging from realism to abstraction. Works focus on the artist’s interpretation of the notion “kindred spirits,” the powerful affinity between artist and subject.
This high-quality festival, hosted by the Palo Alto Chamber of Commerce, attracts over 150,000 attendees. Downtown becomes home to 300 fine art & contemporary craft displays, over 60 Italian Street Painters, Kids’ Art Studio, specialty areas, stage & street entertainment, gourmet food, fine wines & micro-brews.
Produced since 1957 by members of the Rotary Club of Saratoga, the Arts Show is the primary fundraising event supporting local and international charities under the guidelines of the Saratoga Rotary Charitable Foundation. To date, the Foundation has granted over $2.5 million to nonprofits serving the needs of the community.
“This Is Now” is a tri-gallery exhibition of the Visual Arts Network featuring work created within the last two years that depicts what is current. All media is represented. 150 plus artists from throughout Santa Cruz County and nearly 400 pieces of art.
Five local artists have created original, life-sized self-portrait frames, installed along pathways in various places throughout Scotts Valley. These unique artist-painted frames put the focus on our beautiful parks, places and YOU! Come enjoy the park, take a photo, be inspired and GET OUTSIDE THE FRAME!
This invitation exhibition showcases local artists throughout the County Courthouse building. Shirley’s art will be on display in the fifth floor.

The Member’s Exhibition is a group of diverse works by creative Santa Cruz Art League members.
The festival-celebrating its thirty-eighth year, the Palo Alto Festival of the Arts takes place annually on tree-lined University Avenue in beautiful downtown Palo Alto, featuring 300 talented artisans and crafters from all over the country.
